Beaver Creek is a cozy little village located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Some of the town is not car-accessible and is small enough to walk around and enjoy the little shops and restaurants located in the village. In the summertime, enjoy fun activities such as mountain biking, hiking, and scenic lift rides up the mountain. During the night, adventure down to the village and check out the nightlife of Beaver Creek. There are events in the village year-round so be sure to find out if there are any events you can attend during your stay.
If you are visiting during the winter, then be sure to head up the mountain and hit the slopes! Beaver Creek Mountain has runs for all kinds of skiers, the level of difficulty ranges from 19% beginner, 43% intermediate, 38% advanced. Other amenities include 3 terrain parks and 2 bowls for any of the adrenaline seekers out there. So come out and book a rental in the mountains and have fun with the whole family!
Getting There and Getting Around:
Eagle County Regional Airport is the closest airport to Beaver Creek, only 30 minutes outside of the town. To get to the town, the airport offers a shuttle service, taxis, rideshares, and rental cars. Once in town most of the village is within walking distance, however, there are bus services and parts of the town that are car-accessible. So book a rental near the village so you do not have to worry about driving anywhere!
What to Wear (The Weather)
In the summertime, the weather is a comfortable 60°F so light wear is recommended. In the wintertime, the weather does drop down to the lower 20's so pack heavier coats and be prepared for some snow. So make sure you book a rental with a heater and enjoy some hot cocoa out in the Rockies!
